Drawing and Painting 2

My thinking skill I want to work with for this project is cause and effect. I started with overpopulation and started looking into the details of causes and and effects that it has on this planet and the people living in it. I came to the conclusion that hunger is a bigger issue and I wanted to work with that. Then I looked deeper and now I want to focus more on social and world issues with food in general. I want to focus on learning about the causes and effects of it and the other issues it causes. I would like to learn how to take my ideas and put them into paintings without knowing almost anything about paint and techniques needed for it. I want my paintings to show a real world problem that effects the way people live and how maybe it could be solved in some ways. I want to show people some of the ways that hunger is caused by the way people handle food and other resources.

My name is Nicholas Myers. I am 16 years old and a Senior in High School. I love music and video games. I play guitar/bass and I love trying to be creative in writing music and seeing others do the same not just in music but in things like video games and other art. I really want to learn how to better my creative thinking and drawing/painting skills in the course to not only help me portray things more creatively through music but also through traditional art.
